Headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, CorCell Companies, Inc. is the family cord blood bank of Cord Blood America, Inc. CorCell, launched in 1995, was the first licensed family cord blood bank in the United States.

Since 2006 Cord Blood America, Inc has merged several cord blood banks into CorCell - most notably, Cord Partners of Los Angeles, CA, CORD of Long Island, NY, and CureSource of Charleston. Today, we safeguard cord blood stem cells for approximately 20,000 customers.

Our AABB accredited partner lab, Progenitor Cell Therapy, is an industry leader in developing and manufacturing cell therapies. It process and store your baby's cord blood under FDA cord blood requirements using Good Manufacturing Practice standards (cGMP), a higher processing standard than that of many other cord blood banks. This means your baby's cord blood will not only be viable for current therapies, but will meet the standards of future therapies that are currently being researched and developed today.
