Our contracted laboratory is a blood bank that offers blood donations, cord blood banking, and bone marrow registration and donation. Founded in 1953, our contracted laboratory is a not-for-profit organization devoted to serving the community's transfusion medicine needs.
Open 24 hours a day, our contracted laboratory is a member of the American Association of Blood Banks and America's Blood Centers.
More than one million units of blood, including umbilical cord blood, have been collected by our contracted laboratory from volunteer donors and tested, processed and distributed to area hospitals to be used in vital medical procedures.
Our contracted laboratory is a member of the American Association of Blood Banks and a candidate for membership in the Foundation for the Accreditation of Hematopoietic Cell Therapy (FAHCT).
